Hello Patricia, I have been reading books for over 20 years! Over the years I have probably read more than 100 books from fiction to christian fiction. I have really enjoyed Chosen and could not book the book down! I appreciate that you honor God through your books. Your books entertain me and keep me on the edge of my seat! You are a gifted writer has the ability to capture a reader without using profanity and explicit sex. I will try to purchase your books on the release dates. I pray this will help in making it easier for you to sell books! While I was reading "Chosen", my husband would ask, " what is going on with Joel and Don" , as if they are real people. I would often yell or scream at the characters while reading. "Chosen" was fun to read!God bless you and keep writing books especially series which I adore! I just wanted you to be encouraged .

I read Chosen and certainly Ms. Haley has once again put the pieces together. She had me back in the Bible looking for the biblical clues and accounts. I am aware of what happens to Tamar and I hope that is not Tamara's story!! I'm blown away by that thought! And lil Ms. Abigail well I think Don is best left to Naledi!

Ever since I read my first book by you, I have enjoyed every book by you. I finished reading Chosen and it was excellent. Can't wait for Destined to come out. I met you at Salem Baptist Church of Chicago and you signed by book.

I pray that God will continue to bless you and keep the books coming.

I enjoyed Chosen, however, it let me looking for more. I could not believe the book ended that way. I was turning pages while saying to myself "this cant be it". Is "Destined" a continuation of "Chosen"?

characters, story, and redeeming nature throughout. I bought this book by happenstance but will
eagerly await finding the rest of your books. I'm so pleased to know there is good inspirational

i have just finished reading chosen.this is the first book i have read by you.i must say it was enjoyable but after reading a book and finding that i may have to buy or borrow (which is the case with chosen) at least one more to finish the story i was to say the least dissapointed.is this how a lot of you author's sell books?i would have to think very hard before starting another one of your books.i am not in a book club and don't want to read 500 plus pages and have no ending.good luck.sincerely,steve.

Patricia,

I belong to a book club called "Straight Talk" and your book was our selection for Jan 2010! I must say that I have been reading books on and off the past year in between my busy schedule and this by far was one of the most gripping story line that had captivated my entire attention. I read this book in about 3 days total and could not stop reading. I found myself reading until 3:00 AM and right back up at 7:30 AM to finish. I love the questions that you put in the back of your book to generate conversation, although if you are familar with the bible you could formulate your own questions. You left me with more questions about what happend with Joel, Don, Tamara and did they reunite as a family? I hope that Destiny will answer a great deal of those questions and bring all the lives of all the main characters back to full circle.

I enjoyed the story and I will certainly read more of your books. I heard of Blessed Assurance and not sure it the movie with Cicely Tyson is base on your book but I do plan to put it on my priority list of books that are a "Must" read!

Be bless and keep letting God use your imagaination to write biblical stories in a modern day time and setting!

A new found follower of your books,

Rikkita Y. Hughes

I have just finished read you book ‘chosen’, which I found so hard to put down.
I have never read any of your books, but I am glad for this first experience. I have recommended this book to a few of my friends. And I am eager to read some of the other books you have written.
I like book that keep me guessing; at point in the book I thought I knew the plot (what was going to happen next), but was only deluding myself, because at every part where I thought I knew what was going to happen, you book went the complete opposite way. I found myself desperately wanting to get to the end of the book to find out what happens, but alas when I got there_ I wanted to start the book again.

This book was indeed very timely; not only has it enlightened me, it has also made me look at aspects of my own life and at my relationship with God.

I am a keen writer myself, although I must be honest and say, that my writing doesn’t come anywhere near the finesse, quality or skill that you bring. I really can’t wait to read ‘Destined’.

May God advance your territory?
I hope to see this becoming a series (or movie). Now that will be something to look forward to.
I thank God for you and for the ability that He has given to you to write.

Marion Williams

About three years ago, my friend and your soror, turned me onto your novels and I have been a huge fan ever since! Your newest novel, "Chosen" was truly awesome!! I finished reading the book in two days. The way used the biblical stories like King Solomon and Queen Sheba was brilliant! More importantly I appreciated how you were able to demonstrate how devastating the spirit of unforgiveness can be in our lives when we chose not to forgive.

God has entrusted you with such a wonderful gift and because you continue to use it to glorify Him and I so confident that many more great novels like these are sure to come!

God Bless you!

GIRL,
I AM TO OUTDONE I AM A GRADUATE STUDENT, AND I WAS READING CHOSEN IN BETWEEN ASSIGNMENTS. I LITERALLY COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. NONETHELESS, I FINISHED MY CLASSWORK, AND PICKED UP 'CHOSE' AGAIN, AND DID NOT PART WITH IT UNTIL 2:45AM. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THE ENDING THAT I JUMPED UP AND STOMPED AROUND BECAUSE I WAS DESPERATELY TRYING TO GET TO THAT BOARD MEETING. THIS IS WHERE EVERYTHING CAME TO A HEAD, RIGHT? WHY DID YOU LEAVE US LIKE THAT. I AM TOO THIRSTY. DID JOEL FALL FROM LEADERSHIP? DID ABIGAIL REALIZE THAT DON WAS THE MAN FOR HER, HER MAN? WAS DON REALLY TO CHOSEN ONE? DID THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPOINT DON AS THE HEAD OF DMI? IS NALEDI IN THE PICTURE, AND WILL SHE CONCEDE TO ABIGAIL FOR DON'S AFFECTION? PLEASE, HELP A SISTER OUT I FEEL REALLY CHEATED! ESPECIALLY IF THE NEXT RENDITION JUST TAKES OFF IN THE INTERNATIONAL WATERS WITH NO BRIDGE TO TAKE US OVER.
